Project: Fertile Earth
The future site is intended to combine practical soil regeneration, monitoring, research, education and documentation. RED is seeking a secluded rural property with reliable water, sufficient land and usable buildings.
A site will not be selected merely because of a low price or an attractive impression. Soil and vegetation, water rights and water quality, climate, accessibility, potential uses, the condition of buildings, running costs and the legal framework must all be viable together.
Only after such an assessment will baseline documentation, initial manageable regeneration areas and long-term monitoring follow.
